, by itself, has no meaning. It was a typographical error when I, Francis Serina, was playing Starcraft over the modem with Michael Bitanga. I accidentally typed Xeralot instead of the Protoss Unit Zealot. I interchanged the 'l' and 't' for easier pronunciation. Contrary to common hypothesis, it did not come from the Dark Templar hero Zeratul. Xeratol serves as my cybername. My alternate cybername is Asz'arath which was inspired from Warcraft (Azeroth and Arthas).

Top 3 things that make a Francis 'Kiko' Serina: Sincerity, Commitment, Pure Fun. I've worked w/ Kiko during my term as chairperson of UP CKT; he was then one of the most active & talented members of the org. Even w/o a title or position, Kiko served & contributed a lot to UP CKT, specifically w/ his graphic multimedia skills; always w/ much eagerness, he would take initiative to make our org videos. In many instances he's shown his natural creativity & commitment to quality - he won't stop with mediocre results. He is assertive of his ideas, while keeping his mind open to other people's inputs. It's hard not to get easily comfortable working w/ him! Kiko is one of the most fun-loving & trustworthy persons anyone can ever have, both as a co-worker & a friend. He's sincerely generous & takes the extra mile to be of service to anyone. That's why it's not a surprise to see him get to ESC, & now to the USC. Kiko is a rare find for a good leader. - Kristine Espinosa

About Tin
Tin is the person who allowed me to shine as videographer (does a term exist?) for UP Circuit way back in 3rd year college. While she herself is an artist is many ways, she gave way for me to be responsible to make Circuit look its best. Her patience and company has given me a perspective of life that made me happy for being alive. I became EEE Representative upon her graduation and though she may not have known it, she was my inspiration on making the ESC Recog Rites 2006 Tribute Video. I hope she becomes one of my business partners in the future.

Classical Guitar, Web Designing, Star Wars, Programming, Chicken. This was the set that made Kiko up. Now, however, he’s found a new purpose for his existence, and sadly, all elements of this set could not be accommodated.

Not to say that his new purpose is pointless, nor was it a vain attempt, as he’s gotten himself elected as this year’s Eng’g Representative. Safe to say this should be attributed to his desire to succeed in life and make way for his future plans, as of course, there’s no better way to start. Yes, we, his friends, are proud.

Being his friend has its own unusual perks. Imagine driving the car absolutely aghast after your near death situation, yet there is conducting a make-believe orchestra while classical music plays in the background, without a care in the world. Then there are those times when he’d constantly plug trivia about animation studios, Star Wars history or how a movie score was composed, while you’re still concentrating on whether Will Turner is better-looking than Jack Sparrow. Or imagine finding out he doesn’t have a clue who U2, Coldplay, and Deftones are (ah what the hell, it’s not as if I know who John Williams is).

We may seem to be salt and pepper when it comes to the type of people we are, but one cannot deny that he’s as true as a friend as Yoda is old. (haha) No, seriously, I may admittedly not appreciate knowing what George Lucas’s mother’s favorite color is, but we hang out not because of our interests. Kiko will remain to be my friend because he is true and from the other side of the fence, he accepts his friends for who they are as well. - Elise Dejecacion

Elai has been my friend ever since 2nd year Highschool. We were coincidentially seatmates in around 7 subjects that year. Of all my friends and loved ones, Elise is the one who knows me the most. She is a unique friend who will be there should you ever need someone to talk to. Whenever I'm in despair, she'd be the first to console me and give time for me. I love Elise and I could firmly say that our friendship will overcome both time and distance.
